home again, home again jiggity jig...
I can remember my mom saying that nearly everytime we pulled into the driveway from Smithville. I'm not sure where it's from or what it means, and I know we never went to market to buy a fat pig.
October was the official month of traveling for the youngest faction of the Pinson family. We went to Minnesota for one of my best friend's weddings. Christine, Jack and I shared a room with a couple of my buddies, and hilarity ensued. We will save those stories for another time. The weather in Minnesota was perfect, when we landed at DFW the temperature was 95.
The next weekend we drove to Nashville. That's right drove with a 1 year old. Thank you Mrs. Englant for letting us borrow the portable DVD player, it was a lifesaver. We had a good time in Nashville. Christine went to the ZOE conference and I got to hang out with friends and family and just soak up Nashville.
Then it was time to go to Abilene for ACU's centennial homecoming. Honestly, if didn't feel any different than any other homecoming. The parade was incredibly boring and ACU got drilled in the football game.
Through all this Jack was the perfect baby. Sleeping at convenient times and just generally being happy even when he was sick in Nashville he was still such a happy boy. This is an uncharacteristically long post. I take pride in keeping mine just a couple of paragraphs. This is also a little bit boring. Oh well you're probably not reading anymore. I wouldn't be.
